I’ve spent years learning, building, failing, and figuring things out — and one thing I’ve learned for sure? Life teaches us a lot if we’re paying attention. I love sharing what I’ve picked up along the way — whether it’s through writing books, telling stories, or just helping good people navigate tricky situations like unclaimed funds.
I’ve written a couple of business books (one for entrepreneurs, one just about life), and I’ve got a real soft spot for writing children’s stories too. I like to rhyme when I can and sneak a good lesson in — because kids learn just like adults: through experience and the occasional mistake.
These days, I live in the mountains of Virginia with my amazing wife Joanna. My son Matthew and I started a little Airbnb getaway — we’ve got campers, a fire pit for s’mores, a hot tub in the woods, and plans for treehouses and yurts. It’s called Flora’s Retreats, and it’s been a real joy watching people come out here to just… breathe.
